TRAVEL CLUB
The Veranda Park Travel Club was established during the early summer of 2010 as a way for residents to take scenic and educational overnight trips hosted by Veranda Park staff. These all-inclusive travels are affordably priced with first class venues and lodging. Our hassle-free itinerary and attention to detail caters toward even the most discerning travelers, and highlights the scenic and historical attractions of Oregon, California, and Washington.
On our first trip we went to the Northern California coast and explored the Redwood National Forest and the Trees of Mystery. We indulged in fantastic food and explored the many historical and scenic sights of the northern coastline. For our second trip we went to Central Oregon with stops at The High Desert Museum in Bend and then to the quaint town of Sisters to see the towering Ponderosa Pines and snow-capped Cascade Mountains. On our final decent home, we stopped at Crater Lake National Park and took a picturesque walk around the crystal blue lake and read about its amazing volcanic past.
