Locally owned and operated, Veranda Park was created by Mahar Homes, one of Southern Oregon's leading and most respected builders for more than four decades. It is owned by four well-known Medford families; Mike and Mary Mahar, Larry and Ann Horton, Lou and Katherine Mahar, and Randy and Jonelle Jones.

The Mahars and Hortons have already created several of the region's most successful and prominent retirement communities. Now, they're setting a new standard for luxury adult living.

"We've used our experience, plus suggestions from residents of our other communities, to create a community that sets a new standard," explains Mike Mahar. "We believe that this is the ultimate expression of active adult living."
